Pack ripping vs buying sealed packs: what's the difference?
Sealed packs give you manufacturer odds on ungraded cards; digital packs give you platform odds on graded cards you can sell back instantly.
Sealed: you open the real pack, odds are set by the manufacturer, most cards are low value and raw, and resale takes effort. Digital packs: one curated, usually graded card per pack, odds set by the platform, instant buyback, no shipping unless you want it.
The digital model makes the outcome more predictable (a floor, a published range) and removes grading risk, but the platform controls the pool.
